Black packed the letters into a box as she reminisced about the times she had with White.
Sometimes she wondered if the person she had been was who she is deep inside.
"I miss her." She mumbled as she shut the box and put it aside.
Many were surprised whenever Black said that she and her dearest friend have not met for months. It's not that she didn't want to, or maybe it is.
White was a really nice girl and a really awesome friend to Black. She was there when Black was down, there to make sure that Black was okay when she was stressed, there to pray for Black. Black had thought that White was an angel sent from heaven and she hated herself for not being able to be as wonderful to White.
Since White was so perfect, what had made Black drift further away then?
Respect.
Respecting people's faith.
White had lacked that.
Black and White have different beliefs, different faiths. Black felt that it never matters what race or religion her friends are. That should not ever be an obstacle when she make friends. However, that should never be a reason for her to make friends either.
She was taken aback when White first told her that the posts Black had on her blog was pretty depressing and that Black needed a light in her life. That was why White started to approach Black, hoping that she would be able to have spiritual guidance so that Black could be happier.
Much as Black hated to admit, she had approached White with an intention too do she could not bring herself to dislike her friend just because of what she said. However, it was what happened much later that cause Black to feel slightly disappointed.
Whenever there was a chance, White would try to convince Black to join her and to believe what she does. Black would always stay quiet during those moments and it never failed to make White questioned why her friend who was always so chatty would clam up whenever she was alone with White.
In any kind of relationship, respect is the most important element. Black lives by that motto and she hated how White had no respect at all towards Black's beliefs and she did not even respect the beliefs of Black's parents. Black felt so disappointed and suffocated with how White would constantly try to talk to Black about it that she began to drift away. She was kind of sick of her friendship with White. "If the basic respect is gone, what's the point of being friends?" Black once said to her mother. However, White was so precious to Black that she couldn't bear to let it all go.
It has been a year or so since Black last met White. She misses her a lot but she knows that her friendship with White will never be the same ever again.
Yup, the end.
