✰Lesson 1: The Seven Deadly Sins✰
► Tuesday, January 17, 2012 | 11:34 PM

"Hey Black, why do you swear so much?" White asked one day.

"I don't do that a lot!" Black defended herself as she frowned at White's question.

"Well, I just don't like it. Swearing isn't good. It leaves a nasty taste in my mouth when I tried it once."

"Hey! So did you bring the game you said you wanted to?" Black asked her classmate during break-time. Her classmate nodded and took out the board game from her back. "Seven Deadly Sins" the cover read. It was a game that revolved around the seven deadly sins which are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Acedia, Wrath, Envy, Pride and Vainglory. Many people gathered around the table and started playing. White had rejected the offer when Black invited her to join in. Such a killjoy she thought.

The game went on for quite a while and soon, it was Black's turn once again. She threw the dice, picked up a card and started reading the instructions written on it. "Say 10 different swear words in 10 seconds!" Black read the card out loud and smirked, "This should be easy."

"Ready, Go!" The girl sitting beside her turned the small hour glass over as Black began to list the words out. The rest of the class became quiet as Black showed off her "colourful" vocabulary. However, after her ninth word, Black realised that she had ran out of swear words and thus lost when the time was up. Ah, damn. I was so close. She thought as she left the table.

When she sat beside White, somehow she felt that the atmosphere seemed different. "What's the matter?" She asked. "What colourful vocabulary you have. You should brushed up on the vocabulary list you can use for schoolwork instead." White replied with a cold voice. The number of swear words Black knew was more than White had expected and she could not believe that Black was such a vulgar person. White refused to speak to Black from that moment and for the whole day, both girls did not utter a single word to each other.

For the first time in her whole life, Black felt really guilty for swearing even if it was meant for the game. She swallowed hard and made her mind to get rid of that bad habit or at least try not to say it out whenever White was present.

"I'm sorry." Black wrote on a small slip of paper and passed it to White.

"Forgiven." White wrote back and Black heaved a sigh of relief.

I'm having too many flashbacks. Dayum.
